We wanted to share a bit about who we are, but this is only half the story. The people below are supported by teams of people working on the front lines across Western Canada. Our company is young and dynamic, and so are the individuals who work here. We take pride in what we do every day – many of us have lived in the buildings we have built or personally invested in the projects we take on. Bucci started as a family company, and while we have expanded past the last name we hold fast to the core values that have afforded us the reputation we have today, one that continues to attract like minded people to our company; homeowners and employees alike.

Fred Bucci

President

Fred started his career as a sales representative in the manufactured housing industry, eventually becoming branch manager and later president of the company overseeing 12 dealerships in Western Canada.  Fred later incorporated Bucci Investments to acquire income producing assets and Bucci Developments to create multi-family housing across Western Canada and continues to oversee these companies to this day.  Fred has served on the board of both UDI Pacific and UDI Canada, including two terms as President of each.  In his spare time Fred enjoys flying his airplane and fishing on the west coast.  Fred and his wife live in downtown Vancouver and maintain a close relationship with their sons, their son’s partners, and their grandchildren. He is also proud dad to Maggie May, the company’s official mascot and the fanciest poodle in Western Canada.

Mike Bucci

Vice President

Mike’s career in real estate started in 2002 at CBRE’s Vancouver office where he eventually became a financial analyst, underwriting over $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions.  In 2006 Mike joined his father, Fred, as a development manager and moved through the company to his position today as VP of the Bucci Group.  Outside of work, Mike’s time is stretched thinly between coaching his son’s sports teams and his own passions of skiing, biking, boxing, and sailing. All this, and he somehow still finds time to pull off elaborate pranks around the office, including commissioning Peter to paint Troy as a Seinfeld character in 2015- a masterpiece affectionately known as ‘The Troymer’ [don’t worry, we got him back]. Mike lives in North Vancouver with his wife and three sons and enjoys cooking and travel.

Troy Abromaitis

Director of Development

Since 2004 Troy has been building industry relationships and cultivating a legendary reputation amongst his peers. He has held many positions in that time including Past-President of the Real Estate Institute of BC. Troy joined Bucci in 2013, eventually taking over day to day development operations in 2014. He is also the most ‘certified’ member of the Bucci team as a Licensed Realtor, Property Manager and Managing Broker in both BC and Alberta and the designated Mortgage Broker for Bucci’s mortgage investment corporation. He was also named one of professional Builder Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2012. Troy lives in Vancouver and has many unexpected talents, including salsa dancing.

Mabel Ho

Controller, Bucci Group of Companies

Mabel completed her MBA at the University of Texas in Arlington with a CPA license from Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.  She settled down in Vancouver BC in 1994 and was certified as CGA in 1998. Mabel has been the controller at Bucci since 2005 and is responsible for all financial reporting.  She also provides direct leadership to the accounting and administration team.  She oversees the full accounting cycle and works closely with owners and stakeholders on the development financing strategies to support the company’s growth. In her spare time, Mabel enjoys travelling and hiking with friends to explore the beautiful outdoors.

Connor Mann

Customer Service Manager

Connor joined Bucci’s construction department in 2013 and quickly moved into Customer Service where he rose to become our Customer Service Manager in 2015. Connor and his team are the embodiment of our high expectations for building quality and homeowner experience. Connor thrives on balancing the needs of construction with the expectations of our homeowners to ensure that the Bucci machine is well-oiled and running smoothly. He has combined a decade of construction experience, problem solving skills, and passion-for-people to become a respected asset to the company.  Connor is based in Calgary where you will likely find him at the nearest coffee shop planning his next outdoor adventure when the weekend rolls around.

Chelsey Marshall

Director of Sales, Marketing, and Leasing

Chelsey joined Bucci in 2007 and has, at one point or another, worked in every role within the sales and marketing department.  In 2015, after her contract was rewritten with a guarantee against boredom, Chelsey assumed management of the Sales and Marketing Department which has subsequently been expanded to include Leasing. Chelsey has a background in Journalism and is pursuing certification in Environmental Design. She and her team strive to build authentic trust and mutual respect amongst homeowners and tenants through transparency. Her hands-on experience at Bucci has translated into a practical approach to problem solving and a willingness to take risks from a foundation of applied knowledge. Chelsey lives in Calgary and enjoys taking in as many cultural experiences as possible.

Don Poirier

Director of Construction

Don has been in the construction industry since 2002. Over the years he has advanced through project management, site management, and eventually departmental management.  Don joined Bucci in 2013 to recreate our internal construction department, which has since grown to over 20 employees. Don and his team cultivate and focus on successful trade partnerships, which have translated into exceptional building quality. An example of ‘reverse migration’, Don moved from Vancouver to Calgary and threatens to quit whenever a head office relocation is suggested.  He lives in the northwest with his wife and son, and enjoys woodworking, cooking, and travel. You can also find him starring in numerous construction videos across our social media platforms.

Peter Kiidumae

Asset Manager

Peter’s career started in Toronto as an architectural designer which, through a number of twists and turns, led him to work in office and commercial acquisition for various retailers. Eventually realizing his dream of living in Vancouver, Peter arrived on the west coast as V.P. Real Estate for a restaurant chain before starting his own consulting company.  With Bucci Investment Corporation representing the majority of his work by 1999, Peter opted to join the company as Asset Manager. Peter lives with his wife in downtown Vancouver and paints professionally on the side from his studio in Nanoose Bay. Peter says he would write a book about all he has seen and done in the world of real estate if he thought anyone would believe it.

Doug Moore

Controller, Bucci Capital Management Limited

Doug is a chartered professional accountant with over 30 years of experience providing accounting, income tax, and advisory services to privately held businesses. After many years of consulting with the Bucci group, Doug retired from accountancy and became a direct employee on a part time basis to help launch Bucci’s mortgage investment corporation. Doug and his wife live in Richmond, BC and enjoy spending time with their three children and grandchildren, travelling to Europe and tennis. Summers are spent at their cottage on Prince Edward Island, enjoying family, kayaking, music and the beach.
