Nepal disaster hits close to home as local business owner is stranded along with many others

Thoughts and best hopes to Nepal from Bucci Developments

Bucci Developments is saddened by the tragic loss of life caused by the 7.9 magnitude earthquake in Nepal.

This event has hit close to home when we learned that one of our neighbours, Cam Dobranski, owner of the Brasserie in Kensington Calgary, has been stranded by the quake while honeymooning with his wife. (For more on Cam Dobranski’s story read the Metro News article here).

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who have been affected in Nepal, as well as neighbouring countries China and India.

We praise and salute everyone involved in the rescue efforts, and our company will be looking to donate to recovery efforts as the situation stabilizes. May we continue to receive good news about Cam and the people of Nepal. ( For more information on the Nepal quake read BBC’s article click here).
